HARRIS GROUP TRAINING ACADEMY
OUR MISSION
With technology in the motor industry advancing at a phenomenal rate, especially in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry. We need to, not only keep up but stay ahead. The Harris Group Training Academy was designed to educate our dealer network in new technology trends and advancements, helping them better serve our customers. We do this through our modular based training system using a mix of virtual training and in person training at our centre of excellence on the Naas Road, Dublin.
CLASSROOM BASED LEARNING
All attendees begin their training in the classroom.
They will be introduced to our expert trainers, overseen by training managers Noel Hughes and Eamon Connolly, who will bring participants along their journey of further manufacturer specific training and self-improvement.
In the classroom, participants will learn and become familiar with the vehicle components, structured diagnostic techniques, specialised equipment, service and repair theory.
HANDS ON PRACTICAL TRAINING
Following the classroom based learning, technicians will get the opportunity to apply their newly acquired theory in hands on practical training which also takes place in our state of the art facility.
Technicians will have the opportunity to combine both theory and practical training to assist them in performing structured first-time correct diagnosis in the field.
All practical training is conducted in a controlled environment, under the supervision of our expert trainers.
In the classroom, participants will learn and become familiar with the vehicle components, structured diagnostic techniques, specialised equipment, service and repair theory.
SPECIALIST ELECTRIC VEHICLE TRAINING
As electric vehicle technology evolves and advances rapidly, demand for specialist EV technicians also increases.
Training is key to staying ahead of the curve while ensuring our dealer network is equipped to embrace this change. Being one of the first of its kind in Ireland, the Harris Group training academy will educate technicians on the various component parts of electric vehicles and EV battery configurations.
Applying our philosophy of first-time fix, technicians will be equipped to efficiently and effectively diagnose any issue that may arise and thus limit vehicle down time.
By repairing, rather than replacing, the maintenance cost for electric vehicles is drastically reduced and allows our dealer network to better serve our respective customers.
CERTIFIED ACCREDITATIONS
Upon successfully completing training, all participants will receive a certified accreditation, qualifying them to service and repair ElectricVehicles and their components.
Completion of a Harris Group Training Academy certified training course will certainly make our technicians stand out from the crowd.
