Innovative, thought-leading and future-focused, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) is the largest automotive group in China, and is the name behind the MAXUS (formerly LDV) brand. Based in Shanghai, SAIC produces almost seven million vehicles each year for both domestic and international markets and is a Fortune Global 500 listed company with almost 100,000 employees.
After acquiring LDV in 2010, SAIC manufactured these LCVs under the MAXUS moniker for the home market in China and select left-hand drive markets in Europe such as Spain, Belgium and The Netherlands.
Then in April 2020, LDV rebranded as MAXUS across right-hand drive Europe, consolidating the brand’s presence across Europe, China and beyond. The Maxus brand continues to represent outstanding performance, high efficiency and superb reliability across its range of vehicles.
Electric Vans by Maxus
With a new name comes new innovations.
Now operating under the MAXUS brand, SAIC Motors have introduced the 100% electric range of commercial vehicles, the e DELIVER 3 and the e DELIVER 9. Harris Group have secured distribution right for Ireland and the UK, and select left-hand drive markets in Europe, such as Spain, Belgium and The Netherlands.
SAIC is a leader in the technical revolution and their 100% electric vans are a product of their innovative thinking. By developing new cooling methods, they reduced charging times to just 45 minutes for DC charging and 5 hours for AC charging.
Available in a choice of 35Kw or 52.5Kw battery configurations and coming with a 90KW/250Nm motor and AC/DC charging options the e DELIVER 3 and e DELIVER 9 are the future.
Both vehicles are available in a suite of configurations and vehicle types.
Electric Passenger Vehicles by Maxus
Maxus have diversified their range of electric vehicles, expanding into the highly anticipated electric passenger vehicle market with two new vehicles; Maxus T90EV & MIFA 9.
Perfect for both on and off-road driving, the MAXUS T90EV is equipped with a high-level spec and contemporary and stylish interior. With a range of 220 miles / 354 kms (WLTP combined) and a payload of 1000Kg the visually sporty exterior is complemented by a modern interior with a 10.25-inch digital touch screen instrument cluster providing a minimalist look.
Visually impactful, the MAXUS MIFA 9 boasts a range of up to 323miles / 520km on a single charge with the MIFA acronym reflecting the vehicle‘s key attributes: Maximum, Intelligent, Friendly and Artistic.
