Design
The Crusader XL Series of luxury midi coaches is available in two base configurations (29+1+1; 33+1+1) but full customer customisation is also available – your coach, your way; your Crusader. Passenger seating follows a 2+2 layout but 2+1 VIP version can be specified as part of your build requirement.
Fittings include luxury 500mm Sege seating with side movement, armrests and three-point seat belts; panoramic double-glazed windows with electric drivers’ blinds, USB charging, full-length rack strip lighting, LED-illuminated entrance steps, a large front mounted fridge, power door, reversing camera and a high-back driver’s air seat. The Crusader XL Series also offers up to 5.5 cubic metres of usable luggage space with rack and rear storage.
Performance
Built on the ultra-reliable Iveco Daily platform, the Crusader XL series is powered by a 3.0-litre, 180HP Euro 6 engine with an 8-speed Hi-Matic gearbox. Standard specifications include ESP9 braking, independent suspension with torsion bar adjustment and saloon heating/air conditioning provided by a Webasto unit.
As with all Harris Group buses and coaches, the Crusader XL series is backed by our 2-year, bumper to bumper parts and labour warranty.
Accessibility
The Crusader XL Series is also available in a wheelchair-accessible configuration as the Crusader WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle). The Crusader WAV features an integrated side-entry wheelchair lift with a 300kg capacity, an extra-large door opening and a waterproof control unit.
The Crusader WAV, is designed to take a maximum of six wheelchairs and is delivered with maximum passenger seating installed (seats removable via quick release for your convenience).
