The Mercedes Crusader VIP is our top spec version of the Crusader XL line with a premium finish unmatched at this price point, making it the perfect option for executive transport or high-end, small group touring.
An all-purpose front-engined midi coach, the Mercedes Crusader VIP is built on the hugely popular Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis and configured for a capacity of 21 (19+1+1). With fully adjustable luxury seating and interior tables, the Mercedes Crusader VIP is built to carry your most valued customers in comfort and style, with superb driver comfort, handling and ergonomics.For larger groups, the extended body XE Series meanwhile offers 17+1 (sliding entry) or 16+1 (front entry) passenger capacity options as well as a 9+1+1 WAV layout with rear lift.

Performance

The Mercedes Crusader VIP is powered by a choice of 6-cylinder 516 163HP or 519 195HP engines delivering a maximum power of 149kw. Transmission is courtesy of Mercedes’ 7G Tiptronic system with fully automatic operation, while additional features as standard include AEBS braking, independent front suspension and parabolic longspan rear suspension. Saloon heating and AC is provided by a Webasto convector unit with fan assist.

Passenger comfort is top priority on the Mercedes Crusader VIP with luxury 500mm Sege seating (and armrests), 19” LCD display monitor, onboard refrigerator, panoramic double-glazed side windows and 4 cubic metres of rear luggage storage. Meanwhile driver needs are also catered for with a panoramic windscreen, electrically-operated blinds, electrically-operated rear view mirror, a reverse camera and 2x microphone PA system. Finally, the saloon is finished with full-length rack strip lighting, LED illuminated entrance steps, train grade wooden effect flooring and ribbed carpeting through the centre aisle.
