A night with Cork Youth Orchestra
The Cork Youth Orchestra are hosting a fundraising concert in aid of Cork Penny Dinners on Friday the 30th of June in Cork’s City Hall. Penny Dinners do incredible work, feeding the less fortunate in society and are more than deserving of the support.
This concert marks the Orchestra’s last rehearsal before their “Reflections of Ireland” tour of Italy which sees them visit and play three concerts in Montecatini, Volterra and Florence.
As primary sponsors of the Cork Youth Orchestra, Harris Group wish each and every member of the orchestra the very best of luck and above all else, we hope you enjoy it.
Limited tickets are available using the link below with proceeds donated to Cork Penny Dinners:

Commenting on the concert Denise Harris said;
“Nurturing young talent is a particular passion of mine. It is so important that younger generations are afforded the opportunity to pursue their dreams and achieve their ambitions. That is why I, through the Harris Group, take immense pride in continuing to support the Cork Youth Orchestra, guided by their
inspirational musical director, Tomás McCarthy.
It is truly rewarding to see how Harris Group’s support has been instrumental in fostering the growth of these talented musicians, providing them with opportunities to perform on prestigious stages not only in Ireland but also around the world, most notably in their upcoming “Reflections of Ireland” tour to Italy.
While supporting young talent is a passion of mine, I am equally committed to safeguarding the environment so that future generations can thrive and enjoy a healthier climate. At Harris Group, we are dedicated to protecting our planet and are spearheading the transition towards sustainable transportation solutions. Through the Harris Group rEVolution, we are leading the charge in
reversing the environmental impact of fossil-fueled vehicles, with a growing range of electric vehicles, now including 100% electric buses, vans, and passenger vehicles.
It has been some time since I have seen the Cork Youth Orchestra perform in person. I am so looking forward to attending one of the concerts in Italy and enjoying their “Reflections of Ireland” show, which celebrates the beautiful sounds of our country.
On behalf of the Harris Group, I would like to wish each member of the Orchestra the very best of luck in both their last rehearsal concert in Cork and their tour of Italy. Above all else, I hope you all enjoy the performances and hold memories that will remain with you for many years to come.”
