Alex Dunne steps up to Formula 3!
Harris Group is proud to see that brand ambassador, Alex Dunne, will compete in Formula 3 for the upcoming season. Joining the MP Motorsport team, Alex takes another step towards achieving his goal of driving in Formula 1.
Alex’s incredible talent has not gone unnoticed and this progression is so deserved. Alex is more than capable of competing at this level. His first taste of driving an F3 car was in pre-season testing in Bahrain. Over the weekend’s testing, Alex was off to a flying start, finishing the afternoon session of day 1 as the fastest driver, despite the difficult and wet conditions. His form continued into day 2, finishing in second place, just .66 of a second behind the leader. If this is anything to go by, we are in for a very exciting season ahead.
Everyone at Harris Group is behind Alex and we wish him the best of luck in his debut F3 seasons. We will be keeping a close eye on him throughout the season and hopefully, we’ll see him back on a podium soon.
Alex’s first competitive race in Formula 3 will be at Sakhir, Bahrain on the 29th Feb – 2nd March.
